Paul is a founding partner of Download Learning Ltd and Chairman of our advisory board.

An educationalist of international renown, Paul pioneered the practical application of Neuroscience Led Learning (NLL) and then, recognising that that was only part of the solution for optimised learning, started studying the influence of circadian rhythms on learning outcome.

Paul is at the forefront of this research, which he is continuing at the Open University, having previously been an Honorary Clinical Research Associate in the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences team that was conducting circadian rhythm research.

A Californian, living in the NW of England and working with the Surrey based Download™ team, Paul's credits also include working on the development of the much loved and valued BBC Bitesize.
